 Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of giving to St. John the Baptist School. The Annual Fund comprises unrestricted giving from all sources that support all school programs and activities. Teacher salaries, subject books, technology and building maintenance are all funded in part by annual giving. The school can put such gifts to use in areas where they are most needed.

 Tuition Assistance Funds:

The Elaine McVicar/Sisters of St. Anne Scholarship Fund was established in 1992 to honor the 36 years of dedicated and loving service that “Mrs. McVicar” gave to St. John the Baptist School as a second-grade teacher. She taught and touched the lives of over 1,000 students. Awards are made annually based solely on financial need. The Sisters of St. Anne were the founders of our school.

The Gerard W. Bourbeau Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2000 to benefit families with two or more students currently attending St. John the Baptist School in grades K - 8. Awards are made annually based on financial need.

 Memorial Gifts

A gift in memory of someone you love or admire can be a particularly meaningful way to contribute to St. John the Baptist. A memorial gift may be made to the Annual Fund or to one of our Tuition Assistance Funds.

 Life Insurance

At a relatively low cost to you, a life insurance policy, that names St. John the Baptist School as beneficiary, can have a real impact. Legal or financial advisors can best determine the vehicle most advantageous and appropriate for you.

Bequest

Remembering St. John the Baptist in your will is a special and effective way to ensure that the ideals you value will be perpetuated. It also reduces the taxable portion of your estate. Please direct any bequest gift to: The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield, MA, Inc. for the benefit of St. John the Baptist School, Ludlow, MA
