School Uniforms

                          Sweatshirt/T-Shirt Order Form                                 

Girls may start wearing their navy blue pants on October 1st. Boys will no longer be able to wear shorts as of October 1st.

The dress code will be strictly enforced.

                        St. John the Baptist School Dress Code

Girls 

1. Grades K through 5 – Uniform jumper:
2. Grades 6 through 8 – Uniform skirt
3. White or navy long or short sleeve school polo
4. White turtleneck (We would prefer the students to wear the long sleeve polo)
5. Winter months navy blue pants (no cargo) (no blue jean type material)
6. Plain navy blue or  white cardigan, vest or pullover school uniform sweater.
7. Ankle socks must be blue, black or white and must be seen.
8. Shoes or sneakers are permitted; no high heels, healed boots, clogs, slip-on, backless, Crocs or sandals. Sneakers should be either white or black (some design color is okay).
9. Make-up is prohibited. One earring is allowed (hoop earrings quarter size or smaller) and jewelry should be kept to a minimum (such as one bracelet and one necklace)
10. School logo sweatshirts may be worn in school.
11. Gym uniforms must have the school logo on the shirts, sweatshirts, shorts and sweatpants.

Boys        

1. Navy blue pants (no cargo) (no blue jean type material)
2. White or navy long or short sleeve school polo
3. Plain navy blue or white cardigan, vest or pullover school uniform sweater.
4. Ankle socks (blue, white or black) must be worn and seen and shoes must be tied .
5. Shoes or sneakers are permitted. Sneakers should be white or black. (some design color is okay).
6. School logo sweatshirts may be worn in school.
7. One earring is permitted and jewelry should be kept to a minimum (such as one chain)
8. Gym uniforms must have the school logo on the shirts, sweatshirts, shorts and sweatpants.

If students (boys or girls) hair is long, it must be pulled back and kept out of their face. Hair should also be kept clean and combed.

All students should be neat and clean and dressed to show respect for themselves as children of God. Hair should be combed and kept clean. All uniforms should fit properly.

Shirts must be tucked in at all times.

Skirts/Jumpers, gym uniforms can be purchased new at Blake’s Uniforms in Sixteen Acres, Springfield.

Everyone should have at least one white polo and one gold gym shirt.

Penney's and Sears etc. also carry the blue pants as well as the polos. Please make sure the polos are all white and no design in the weave or color on the shirt or collar. No lace or frills on the girls shirts; Aero, American Eagle, etc are not permitted.

White/Navy polos should be plain, school type. No labels, lace or color should be on the shirt or collar. There should be either 3 or 4 buttons.

Navy blue pants or shorts for boys (no cargo style side pockets) (no jean type material)

Sweaters should be school uniform sweaters.

If you have any questions about the uniforms purchased, please keep all receipts and do not wash any clothing until you are sure about the uniform.

Parent Suggested Quantities

 Girls & Boys K-4 Gym uniforms (Gym once a week)

1 gym logo t-shirt (at least one gold)

1 gym logo shorts

Girls

1-2 jumpers/skirts

3 or 4 polo’s (At least one white for pictures)

1-2 pairs of blue pants

 Boys

2-3 pairs blue pants

3 or 4 polo’s (At least one white for pictures)
