                          St. John the Baptist Curriculum

Curriculum

The curriculum of St. John the Baptist School is based on both state requirements and diocesan policies. It consists of religion, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, music, art, and physical education. In addition St. John the Baptist School offers programs in computers, library, health and family life.

Title One and remedial services are offered in reading in grades 1 - 4.
Teachers also stay after school for those needing extra help in any subject area.

The teachers will work with the individual needs of each child. Children will work to master the skills and concepts dictated by that student and the curriculum. This will be accomplished through placement, groupings and diversity of materials and assignments.
