I.                                Tom welcomed parents.

II.                             Sister Jacqueline opened with prayer.

III.               December Activities

o   Christmas Pageant will be held Friday, December 18 at 1:30pm in Kolbe Hall.

o   Christmas Break will be December 24 through January 3, school resumes January 4.  We wish all our school families a blessed Holiday.

o   Deadline to donate gifts to the Felician Sisters is December 21. Please help us to continue our annual Christmas tradition of generosity and support from our school community to the Felician Sisters.

o   Thank you to the parents who sent in Christmas cookies and helped to assemble cookie trays for our dedicated teachers.

IV.              Upcoming Activities

o   Catholic Schools Week will be January 31 through February 6.

Catholic School Week Mass will be held Saturday during Catholic Schools Week at 4:00pm at Pope John Paul the Great.  All school families are encouraged to attend to support our catholic school community.

Looking for a volunteer to chair the Teacher Recognition Lunch that takes place on Wednesday of

Catholic Schools Week.  Will also need volunteers to help watch classes while teachers are enjoying

the luncheon.

Also looking for a parent to chair Games for Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade during Catholic Schools Week.

To celebrate Catholic Schools Week and to bring the parish community together we would like to hold

a Spaghetti Supper in Kolbe Hall after Mass.  All school families and all parishioners would be welcome to attend in support of one another.  This is not a fundraising event, the amount charged will cover expenses only and will be minimal.  We are looking for a volunteer to chair this event and will also be asking for older children to volunteer as servers during the event.

                                                                                i.      Please contact Tom Bernard 664-4932 if you are able to volunteer.

V.                 Parents offered positive feedback on the automated messaging system that was recently put in place.  This system has served as an efficient way to communicate to all families and has been well received.

VI.              Fundraising Updates

o   The Bazaar was once again a success!  THANK YOU to all the parents, children, parishioners and family members who supported the school and helped to make it such a success.  The school realized a $20,147.34 profit, only $1,300 short of last year.

o   Don’t forget Pizza Jim’s is December’s restaurant fundraiser and is running through Sunday the 20th.  Please help us support Pizza Jim’s as they continue to support us in this fundraiser.

o   Remember to send in those Boxtops for Education!  Every boxtop helps!

VII.            Thank you to Robin Loughmann and all the parents who volunteered for Secret Santa this year.  The children had a wonderful time and were very excited to shop for their families and friends.
