Tom welcomed parents.

Sister Jacqueline opened with prayer.
III.
Make a Difference Day
is Saturday, October 24. Donations are will be accepted through the end of
October..
IV.
Children of Mary: First meeting is October 16 from 2:15-3:00pm. Need parent volunteers
to help with craft making for bazaar table. Please call Julie Wojcik at
743-5284 or Jen Bernard at 664-4932.
V.
Halloween Party for Grades Pre-K
– Grade 2 to be held on Sunday,
October 25.
VI.
Halloween Movie for Grades 3-4
to be held on Sunday, October 25, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
VII.
Halloween Dance for Grades 5-8
to be held on Friday, October 23; please note the date change.
VIII.
Secret Santa:
In need of a parent volunteer to assist with Secret Santa. Please call Robin
Loughman at 743-1329 or robinloughman@hotmail.com. Also looking for gifts
geared towards adults (popular items are flashlights, window scrapers, scarves,
mittens, etc.)

Fundraising Updates
i.
Old Country Buffet Fundraiser:
Proceeds totaled $281.00; 50/50 raffle proceeds were $76.50; Thank You to the
50/50 winner who donated their winnings of $76.50 back to the school.

Boston Seafood Fundraiser
will be October 18-24; St. Stans to receive 10% of each bill when coupon is
presented.
ii.
Cash Calendars:
Profit estimated at $9,900. This fundraiser was very successful; thank to all
the families who helped make this fundraiser successful.
iii.
Big Y Education Express:
This is an easy and free way to help St. Stans earn school supplies. Family
members can also elect St. Stans as their Education Express school. St. Stan
School # is 5933.
iv.
Box Tops for Education
is now providing yet another way to earn money for our school. Sign up at
boxtops4education.com and enter to win box tops for our school.
X.
Bazaar Planning
i.
Bazaar is November 21.
Please keep in mind that this is one of the
biggest fundraisers for the school. It is very important that all families
donate at least 8 hours towards the bazaar. Your time is needed to
ensure the bazaar runs smoothly and successfully. Please donate your time to
help ensure a successful bazaar.
ii.
Polish foods preparation
will be October 31 and November 7. Volunteers still needed to ensure these
dates run smoothly.
iii.
Thank you to Suzanne Koperek and Jen Field who have volunteered to chair
the Snack Bar.
iv.
There will be a mandatory Bazaar Chairperson meeting after the
November 10 HSA meeting. All Chair People should attend.
XI.
November 10
HSA meeting agenda items to include Bazaar planning and Planning for
Your Child’s 8th Grade Class Trip which will be presented by
Chris Wheeler. The purpose is to share ideas and experiences to help parents
plan for future class trips. Parents and Class Moms are encouraged to attend.
