Catholic Campaign for Human Development

For over 40 years, the Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) has funded organizations that work to end poverty and defend human dignity in neighborhoods throughout the United States. With your generous support to the Collection for CCHD, we are able to put your gifts of treasure into efforts that take visible steps toward ending poverty.
With help from the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) Collection, faith-based community programs in our diocese, like Berkshire Organizing Project, Homework House, and Pioneer Valley Project, are helping individuals identify problems, make decisions and improve their lives and neighborhoods.
Every year at least $65,000 in grant funding is invested in these and other community organizing groups in Western Massachusetts.
“The 2017-2018 Annual Catholic Campaign for Human Development collection will take place in our parishes on November 18 and 19.  In defense of human dignity all of us can work toward taking poverty off the map.  Please give generously.
