The Diocese of Springfield, Office of Fiscal Affairs, has an opportunity for a full time administrative assistant to support the Finance Office and the Director of Human Resources. This position requires a high level of confidentiality, a strong working knowledge of MSWord, MSExcel and Gmail and the ability to learn new programs. This position deals with external and internal customers and must possess a strong commitment to customer service. Tasks include preparing formal written correspondence, coordinating responses to a variety of inquiries, maintaining files, dissemination of department budget reports, processing vouchers for payment and organization of committee meetings and record keeping. In addition, this position handles contract administration, routing, reviewing and assembling contracts for legal review. This person will interact on a regular basis with staff, pastors, school principals, administrators, attorneys and other consultants.

St. Mary’s Parish is seeking a Youth Minister. We are seeking an individual who is dynamic and in love with the Catholic faith. Working in conjunction with our Office of Religious Education the individual will be responsible for the creation, development, oversight, and evaluation of programs that serve our Junior High, High School and Young Adult population. These programs will be expected to provide attractive activities that promote and develop fellowship, discipleship and evangelical zeal among our young while also encouraging them to take an active involvement in the life and mission of the parish and the Church. Candidate must have a great rapport with young people, have the ability to work effectively as a team member, have excellent organizational skills and have a working knowledge of technologies and social networks. Salary and hours will be negotiable.
