Judge Peter A. Velis (retired) has delivered to the Diocese of Springfield a report documenting his investigation into a claim of sexual abuse by the late Bishop Christopher J. Weldon, how the diocese handled this complaint as well as opportunities for improvement on handling future abuse allegations.
