Right now our team is working with other agencies and our national partners to respond to the immediate needs of Afghan evacuees and plan for what the longer-term assistance will look like. Over the next few months we expect to receive 50 – 60 evacuees and SIV’s (Special Immigrant Visa holders). We are finalizing details and preparing to respond with compassion to this humanitarian crisis. We know a lot of people are interested in helping families from Afghanistan. As we work to sort out what that looks like, we ask you to consider a monetary donation, and/or volunteering your time.
MONETARY DONATIONS
Monetary donations are always welcome and serve the pressing needs of our Afghan families; especially housing.
We accept gift cards to Walmart, Target, Big Y and Stop & Shop.
Gift card donations can be mailed to us or dropped off at our office during our business hours.
