About

Youth Nights are offered as a service to parishes looking to host a retreat for their confirmation class or youth group. Youth Nights are two hours long and include dinner, talks, activities, and Mass. Two concepts will be offered this year. Additional components or customization may be added. Youth Nights are priced $400 flat up to 40 students and include t-shirts and swag bags for each student. Host Parishes must provide a simple dinner or may elect to have the diocese provide dinner instead of a t-shirt. Pricing over 40 students varies. Parishes not looking to host may send students to host parish retreats for $20/student.

1. Choose a Concept

God’s Plan

An action-packed night filled to the brim with engaging activities centered on the ways in which God uses His words to communicate with us. From the exercises to the talk, God’s Plan takes a hard look at how our path connects with God’s plan, diving into the beats of our lives. Featuring many hip hop references, God’s Plan challenges students to come up with their own rap and then present it in front of the group.

Mirrorball

Youth are bombarded with voices. Voices of their peers, voices of their parents or family, voices from the internet, voices from the past, from the future. In an age of pressure to identify as definable, we take a look at our true identity in Christ. The retreat will review some of the ways in which others try to define us, then look at how the Church and God define us, and challenge youth to consider the question in light of Christ, “Who am I?” The night ends with groups coming up with the concept for a Catholic Tik Tok Channel and acting out a Livestream for it.
